Civil Engineering

The services that our civil engineers provide include the production of below ground drainage designs, surface water drainage disposal systems incorporating SuDS, designs for access, parking areas, hard standings and pavements. Flood risk assessments and flood statements can also be provided.

Structural Engineering

Our onsite structural engineering skills cover general stability checks, identifying load paths and resolving structural configuration issues. Whilst our design skills can calculate structural steelwork, masonry, concrete and timber elements including foundations, floor slabs and lintels.

Mechanical Engineering

Our range of mechanical engineering design skills covers not only the traditional building services such as Air Conditioning, Heating, Water, Ventilation, Underfloor Heating, Drainage and Renewable Energy Systems, but also more specialist systems such as Compressed Air, Medical and Dental Gas Systems.

Why engineering teams work better when integrated together.

It is well known that a positive team ethos, with aligned values and standards creates a highly creative and productive team. Good communication and understanding between team members will also make it more efficient and effective. If the team members are co-located, having worked together before and know each other's strengths and weaknesses then this will further enhance the team output.

Factors such as being remote to each other, differing priorities and external distractions lower the team's ability to coordinate properly and thus reduce the quality of their output. If different skillsets are brough together for a single project then they don't know each other's abilities, they don't have the same priorities, and this hinders creativity and cohesion. Even telephones, emails and video meetings are barriers to communication thus slowing the team's delivery.
